1. Unzip all contents to a new folder

2. Set up your MYSL database.  To do this perform the following in order:

In your webhost control panel you will need to:
Create database
Create User and password for database.
Assign user to database

Your host can help you with this if you do not understand or don't have permission to create database's and users.

That's it, your database is all set up. 

Remember your database name, user and password.  

They will look something like this:

yoursi_databasename
yoursi_username
Password

3. Create a new directory on your server called "links" (or any other name you like)

Upload all files to this directory

4. CHMOD 777 the following files/folders:

install.php

/admin/backups/

/lib/

5.) Run the self-installation file

www.yourdomain.com/links/install.php  

Fill in the database information and your link back url.

Link Back Url:	This is the url you want your partners to link back to
Admin Username:	Enter the Admin username of your choice
Admin Password:	Enter the Admin password of your choice
Database Username: Your MYSQL database username	
Database Password: Your MYSQL database password	
Database Name:	Your MYSQL database name
Database Host: Keep this as 'localhost' 

6. Login to the admin panel using your selected username/password:

www.yourdomain.com/links/admin/

7.) Your links homepage can be found at:

www.yourdomain.com/links/php.index

8.) After the installation delete install.php

9.) Feel free to change the template around to suit your needs. 

The template you must modify can be found at:

templates/main_template.html

However, you *MUST* keep all copyright links in tact. 

It is a violation to remove the links to MarketersProtection.com
